In 2004, eight year old Alex was struggling with cancer and was well on her way to achieving her vision that she could help find a cure by raising a million dollars selling lemonade one cup at a time.  Before she passed away in August, she had achieved the million dollar goal through a promise from Volvo to guarantee that milestone.
